स्थापनेनंतर राष्ट्रवादीकडून बौद्ध समाजाला प्रथमच मंत्रिपद लातूरचे संजय बनसोडे यांना राज्यमंत्री पदाची लॉटरी

मुंबई: दि 30 : 1999 सालात स्थापना झालेल्या राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसने गेल्या 20 वर्षात राज्यातील बौद्ध समाजाला महाराष्ट्र विकास आघाडीच्या सरकारमध्ये पहिल्यांदाच मंत्रिपद दिले आहे. त्यातून लातूर जिल्ह्याच्या उदगीर येथून प्रथमच निवडून आलेले त्या पक्षाचे बौद्ध आमदार संजय बनसोडे यांना राज्यमंत्री पदाची लॉटरी लागली आहे.
राज्यात काँग्रेस- राष्ट्रवादी आघाडी 15 वर्षे सत्तेवर होती। पण त्या काळात पक्षाकडे बौद्ध समाजातील आमदार असतानाही त्यांना मंत्रिपदापासून वंचीत ठेवले गेले होते. त्यांना मंत्रिपद देण्याऐवजी राष्ट्रवादीने राम पंडागळे, जयदेव गायकवाड, प्रकाश गजभिये या बौद्ध नेत्यांना विधान परिषदेवर संधी दिल। होती. मात्र मंत्रीपदापासून दूर ठेवले गेल्यामुळे राष्ट्रवादी मध्ये स्थापनेपासून झटलेले बौद्ध समाजातील कार्यकर्ते मोठ्या संख्येने नाराज होऊन पक्षापासून दूर गेले होते.
राष्ट्रवादीमध्ये पूर्वी अण्णा बनसोडे, मिलिंद कांबळे हे आमदार होते. तर, ताज्या विधानसभा निवडणुकीत नवे राज्यमंत्री संजय बनसोडे यांच्यासह अण्णा बनसोडे(पिंपरी चिंचवड),मोहन चन्द्रिकापुरे(गोंदिया)हे विधानसभेत निवडून आले आहेत.
काँग्रेसने मुख्यमंत्री उद्धव ठाकरे यांच्या मंत्रीमंडळाच्या पहिल्या टप्प्याच्या शपथविधीतच बौड समाजातील डॉ नितीन राऊत यांनी कॅबिनेट मंत्रिपद दिले होते। त्यानंतर आज बौद्ध समाजातील काँग्रेसच्या प्रा वर्षा गायकवाड यांनाही कॅबिनेट मंत्रिपद देण्यात आले आहे.
डॉ नितीन राऊत यांनी मंत्रिपदाची शपथ घेतल्यानंतर राष्ट्रवादी काँग्रेसचे अध्यक्ष शरद पवार यांची पक्षाचे महाराष्ट्र प्रदेश सचिव उत्तमराव गायकवाड यांनी नागपूर येथे भेट घेतली होती. बौद्ध समाजाला जोडण्यासाठी खास प्रयत्न करण्याचे सूतोवाच खुद्द शरद पवार यांनी निवडणूक निकालानंतरच केले होते। त्या पार्श्वभूमीवर, गायकवाड यांनी आपल्या त्या भेटीत बौद्ध समाजाला नव्या सरकारमध्येही मंत्रिपदाची संधी राष्ट्रवादीने नाकारली तर तो समाज कायमचा दुरावेल, अशी भीती व्यक्त केली होती. पवार यांनी त्याची गँभोरपणे दखल घेतल्याचे मंत्री मंडळाच्या ताज्या विस्तारातून स्पष्ट झाले आहे.
महाराष्ट्र विकास आघाडीच्या सरकारमध्ये राज्यमंत्री संजय बनसोडे यांच्या रूपाने राष्ट्रवादीने बौद्ध समाजाला सत्तेची संधी पहिल्यांदाच दिली आहे, असे सांगत गायकवाड यांनी शरद पवार आणि जयंत पाटील यांना धन्यवाद दिले आहेत. तसेच काँग्रेसनेही डॉ नितीन राऊत आणि प्रा वर्षा गायकवाड यांना कॅबिनेट मंत्रिपद दिल्याबद्दल काँग्रेसच्या अध्यक्षा सोनिया गांधी आणि प्रदेशाध्यक्ष बाळासाहेब थोरात यांचेही गायकवाड यांनी आभार मानले आहेत.
