आणि ‘निलसागरा’चे डोळे पाणावले !

युगपुरुष डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी प्रदान केलेल्या नावाची अशांत हस्ती- शांतिस्वरूप आज अचानक शांत झाली आणि ‘निलसागरा’चे डोळे पाणावले ! भारतीय बौद्ध महासभेचा राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष, द्रष्टा विचारवंत, परखड वक्ता, धम्माचा अभ्यासक, बहुआयामी लेखक, ‘सम्यक’ प्रचारकाचं सोडून जाणं मन-मतिष्क बधीर करणारं होय. बोधिसत्व बाबासाहेबांनंतर भारतात वैज्ञानिक बुद्ध सांगणारा हा बौद्धाचार्य समकालीन विषयांवर जेव्हा बरसायचा तेव्हा भल्याभल्यांची बोलती बंद होत असे. तो आवाजच आता कायमचा बंद झाल्याने तात्पुरता का होईना पण मनुवाद्यांनी सुटकेचा सुस्कारा सोडला असेल !
‘Run for Ambedkar’ असं या जिंदादिल ‘तरुणा’ने आवाहन करताच सर्ववयोगटातील हजारोंच्या संख्येने धावण्यासाठी धाऊन आलेले भीमानुयायी जगाने पाहिले आहेत.
आज एक बाब प्रकर्षाने जाणवत आहे. ती म्हणजे देशाच्या उत्तर बेल्टमधील भीमानुयायी सोशल मीडियावर प्रचंडसंख्येने शांतिस्वरुप यांना भावपूर्ण शब्दांजली अर्पण करताहेत. हे तिकडे त्यांनी केलेल्या बुद्ध-भीमाच्या अथक विचारपेरणीचं द्योतक होय.’राजग्रुहाशी शांतिस्वरूप यांचं असलेलं अतूट नातं नि राजग्रुहाव आपल्या असलेल्या अढळ श्रद्धेमुळे आज सारं कसं शांत शांत सुनं सुनं भासताहे…!
बाबासाहेब आणि समाजातील एक भक्कम दूवा आज निखळला…शांतिस्वरूप जिथे थांबले तिथून नव्याने प्रवास सुरु करणे हीच त्यांना सच्ची श्रद्धांजली नि बाबासाहेबांना भावपूर्ण अभिवादन ठरेल !
