मूकनायक शताब्दीनिमित आज नवी मुंबईत सत्त्याग्रही पत्रकार पुरस्कार सोहळा..!.
नवी मुंबई, दि 10 फेब्रुवारी : भारतरत्न डॉ बाबाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी दलितांच्या जागृतीसाठी चालवलेल्या ‘मूकनायक’ या पाक्षिकाची शताब्दी येत्या शुक्रवारी 31 जानेवारिपासून महाराष्ट्रासह देशभरात साजरी होत आहे। त्यानिमित्त 14 पत्रकारांना ‘सत्याग्रही पत्रकार पुरस्कार’ खारघर येथील सत्त्याग्रह कॉलेजचे संस्थापक प्राचार्य प्रा डॉ जी के डोंगरगावकर यांनी आज जाहीर केले।
सत्त्याग्रह कॉलेज हे मराठवाड्याच्या लातूर जिल्ह्यातील राहुल शिक्षण प्रसारक मंडळ या मराठवाडा मुक्ती संग्रामातील स्वातंत्र्य सैनिकांच्या संस्थेचे आहे।
सत्याग्रही पत्रकार पुरस्कारासाठी निवड झालेल्या ज्येष्ठ पत्रकारांमध्ये विवेक गिरधारी (कार्यकारी संपादक पुढारी), दिवाकर शेजवळ ( माजी वृत्त संपादक सामना), प्रमोद चुनचूवार ( राजकीय संपादक फ्री प्रेस जर्नल), प्रणव प्रियदर्शी ( सह संपादक नवभारत टाईम्स, नवी दिल्ली) यांचा समावेश आहे।
वृत्तपत्राचा डोलारा समर्थपणे पेलण्याची आणि तळागाळातील लोकांना व्यासपीठ मिळवून देण्याची कामगिरी केल्याबद्दल संचालक – संपादकांचीही या पुरस्कारासाठी निवड झाली आहे। त्यात विजय दर्डा (लोकमत), बबन कांबळे (सम्राट), संजय महाडिक ( साप्ताहिक कोकण दर्पण ), रा सो नलावडे ( आम्रपाली) यांची नावे डॉ डोंगरगावकर यांनी जाहीर केली आहेत।
तर, वार्तांकनाची उल्लेखनीय कामगिरी केल्याबद्दल बी बी नायक ( टाइम्स ऑफ इंडिया) आणि जयवन्त बामणे ( पुण्यनगरी ),भीमराव गवळी (महाराष्ट्र टाईम्स ), गजानन चव्हाण ( सकाळ ), यांना सत्याग्रही पत्रकार पुरस्कार देण्यात येणार आहे, असे त्यांनी सांगितले।
या पुरस्काराचे स्वरूप रोख रक्कम, मानचिन्ह,संविधान, शाल असे राहील। मानकऱ्याना हे पुरस्कार सोमवारी 10 फेब्रुवारी रोजी संध्याकाळी 5 वाजता सी बी डी बेलापूर येथे अर्बन हट सभागृहामध्ये शानदार समारंभात प्रदान करण्यात येणार आहेत।
