जगात कोरोना महामारीने प्रचंड धुमाकूळ घातला आहे. त्याला विज्ञानवादी यंत्रणा,व्यस्थापन आणि कुशल टेक्नॉलॉजी आत्मसात केलेले कर्मचारी कामगार अभियंते म्हणजेच सर्व इंजिनिअर,डॉक्टर नर्स, पोलीस महानगरपालिका कामगार कर्मचारी समर्थपणे तोंड देत आहेत. हे सर्वांनांच दिसतात.असा एक संपूर्ण विभाग आहे जो कोणालाच उगड्या डोळ्याने दिसत नाही.तो म्हणजे चोवीस तास अखंड विद्युत पुरवठा करणारा कामगार कर्मचारी अभियंता त्यांच्या दक्षते शिवाय जगात कोणते ही काम होऊ शकत नाही. विजे शिवाय आज कोणतेही काम अशक्य आहे.म्हणूनच मी एक कामगार माझी नोंद कोण घेणार?.त्यांचे तुम्ही हार्दिक अभिनंदन करू नका.पाठीवरती हात ठेवुनी तुम्ही फक्त लढ म्हणा!! हीच त्यांची अपेक्षा आहे.
टाटा पॉवर कंपनी,अदानी इलेक्ट्रिसिटी,टोर्रेन्ट पॉवर ह्या सगळ्या खाजगी विद्युत पुरवठा करणाऱ्या जागतिक पातळीवरील कंपन्या आहेत.महाराष्ट्र राज्य विद्युत महामंडळ (MSEB)त्यांच्या आता चार कंपन्या झाल्या
महासंचालन,महानिर्मिती, महापारेषण, महावितरण, आणि बेस्ट अखंड वीजपुरवठा करीत आहेत.विज्ञान नष्ट करा आणि अज्ञान सर्वश्रेष्ठ करा म्हणून तेलाचे दिवे लावण्याचा राष्ट्रीय पातळीवर प्रयोग झाला,कोरोनाच्या संकटापेक्षा हे संकट मोठे होते ते पण सर्व अभियंत्यांनी आपले कौशल्य पणाला लावून विजय मिळवला. थोड कौतुक त्याचं ही व्हाव!. असे कोणाला वाटले नाही. म्हणून हा लेखप्रपंच
जगात सर्वत्र लॉक डाऊन असल्यामुळे सर्व काम धंदे,कार्यालय बंद आहेत. भारतात लोक घरात बसून असले तरी 23 मार्च पासुन घरातील पंखे, ट्यूब लाईट,टीव्ही,कॉम्प्युटर, मोबाईल,ग्रीजर चार्जर काही बंद नाहीत.त्यांना चोवीस तास विद्युत पुरवठा सुरू आहे. कोरोना विरोधाच्या लढ्यात प्रत्येक योध्याचे आपण कौतुक करतोय, मग ते जीवावर उदार होऊन अखंडित सेवा देणारे डॉक्टर्स, नर्सेस, पोलीस असोत की सफाई कर्मचारी, महानगर पालिका व जिल्हा प्रशासनाने कर्मचारी किंवा बँक कर्मचारी असोत. त्यांचे सोशल मीडियावर, चॅनल प्रिंट मीडियात अभिनंदन आणि कौतुक होत आहे.मात्र या लढ्यात २४ तास काम करणाऱ्या पण कुठंही प्रत्यक्ष न दिसणाऱ्या एका अनामिकानां आपण विसरतो आहोत. तो म्हणजे वीज कंपनीचा कर्मचारी. एक MSEDCL चा कर्मचारी (आपल्या ग्रामीण भाषेत एम. एस. ई. बी.) टाटा पॉवर कंपनी,अदानी इलेक्ट्रिसिटी,टोर्रेन्ट पॉवर (मुंबई पुर्ती बेस्ट ) चे सर्व कर्मचारी मागील एक महिन्यापासून जीवाची पर्वा न करता अखंडित विज पुरवठा करत आहेत. अत्यावश्यक सेवेत मोड़त असल्याने आणि देशात अश्या संकटाच्या आणीबाणीच्या काळात देशसेवा करण्याचे भाग्य त्यांना नी मला लाभले याचा त्यांना आणि मला निश्चितच अभिमान आहे. खरे पाहिले तर आज विज्ञानाचा आधुनिकीकरणाचा संपूर्ण स्वीकार केल्यामुळेच अखंडित विज सेवा सर्वांना मिळत आहे. त्यामूळेच 90% लोक आज घरात बसून आहेत हे नाकारता येणार नाही. कारण घर बसून किंवा झोपुन किती वेळ काढणार?. म्हणूनच टीव्ही पाहतात,लॅपटॉप वर काम करतात,मोबाईल वर मनोरंजन,करमनुक करतात.बाहेर गर्मित आता थंड हवा खाताय हे सगळ यांच्या विजेमुळळे होऊ शकत, कारण घरात बसणे एवढे सोप्प नाहीच. या सर्वाना वीज लागतेच लागते.
दवाखान्यातील डॉक्टर 5% लोक हाताळत असतील, पोलिस 15 % लोक हाताळत असतील तर हे कर्मचारी नक्कीच 90% लोक हाताळत आहोत. फक्त वीज नाही अशी कल्पनाही कोणी केली तर कोणी घरात राहुच शकणार नाही. यांना कोणा कडूनच कसलीही अपेक्षा नाही, पण ज्या प्रमाणे डॉक्टर्स, पोलिस, नर्स, सफाई कामगार यांचे कौतुक होत आहे त्याच प्रमाणे यांचेही कौतुक व्हावे एवढीच किमान अपेक्षा बाळगण्याचा त्यांचा अधिकार आहेच.
वीज पुरवठा करताना बरीच कामे ही कंत्राटदारांच्या माणसांकडून करून घ्यावी लागतात. यात कोरोनाचा संपर्क होण्याची शक्यता नाकारता येत नाही. शिवाय या काळात नियमितपणे देखभालीचे कामेही करावी लागतात.ती टाळता येत नाही. विजेचा वापर सतत होत असल्यामुळे एलटीपी,फिडरपिलर,आर एम यु,ब्रेकर,फोलट लीळे सर्व केबल यंत्रणा मशनरी गरम होत असते.त्याकडे लक्षपूर्वक पाहावे लागते. डोळ्यात तेल घालून दक्ष राहावे लागते. हा कामाचा ताण वाढला आहे तो निराळाच,काही अधिकारी व कर्मचाऱ्यांना तर १२ – १२ तास काम करावे लागत आहे. तरीही यांची काही तक्रार नाही मात्र इतकेच यांना वाटते की कोणी तरी आमच्या कामाची दखल घेणारे पाहिजेत.काम करतो म्हणून पगार मिळते,योग्य वेळी वरिष्ठांनी कौतुक करून शाबासकी दिली असते.पण आम्ही हि देशाची सेवा केली असे का समजल्या जात नाही.जनता एकतास वीज गेल्यावर कंपनीला शिव्या देत नाही तर कामगार कर्मचारी यांना धारेवर धरतात.म्हणून संकट समयी सेवा देणाऱ्या कामगार कर्मचारी यांचे फक्त कौतुक झाले पाहिजे त्यांच्या कामाची दखल घेतली पाहिजे हीच अपेक्षा असते.
एक प्रसिद्ध म्हण आहे. “मोडून पडला संसार तरी मोडला नाही कणा, पाठीवरती हात ठेवुनी तुम्ही फक्त लढ म्हणा!!!” कोरोना महामारीमुळे लॉकडाऊन असल्या कारणाने नोकरी करणारे घरी बसले आहेत. पण सेवा देणारे कामावर आहेत.ते कारण सांगून घरी राहू शकत नाही.कारण ते अत्यावशक सेवेत मोडतात. या निमित्ताने त्याची सेवा देणाऱ्या सर्वांची पाठ थोपटून त्यांना धन्यवाद देऊया. अखंड सुरक्षा,आरोग्य,स्वच्छता देणारे सरकारी कामगार कर्मचारी आणि “अखंडित वीज पुरवठा हेच आमचे ध्येय” हे वीज कंपन्यांचे ध्येय साध्य करण्यासाठी यांना “Thank you” म्हणून यांचा उत्साह वाढवुया.वीज पुरवठा करणाऱ्या कामगार कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या वतीने मी एक कामगार माझी नोंद कोण घेणार ?. फक्त पाठीवरती हात ठेवुनी, तुम्ही फक्त लढ म्हणा!!
