डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर तंत्रशास्त्र विद्यापीठ लोणेरे इथे कार्यरत असणारे प्रा. संजय खोब्रागडे सर (२२ प्रतिज्ञा अभियान मुख्य प्रचारक) याना सामाजिक कार्यात उल्लेखणीय योगदानाबद्दल संयुक्त राष्ट्र न्यूयार्क अमेरिका मध्ये होणाऱ्या डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या १२७ व्या जयंती निमित्त ” डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर रत्न – ग्लोबल चेंजमेकर्स या पुरस्काराने सन्मानित करण्यात येणार आहे. हा पुरस्कार त्यांना संयुक्त राष्ट्राच्या सभागृहात देण्यात येणार आहे. हा कार्यक्रम फाऊंडेशन फॉर ह्युमन हॉरिजन नावाची संस्थेने संयुक्त राष्ट्राच्या डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ इकॉनॉमिक्स अँड सोशल अफेयर्स च्या सोबत मिळून आयोजित केला आहे.
प्रा. संजय खोब्रागडे सर १२ – १३ वर्षांपासून समाज कार्यात जुळले गेलेले आहेत. मुलांना उच्च शिक्षणासाठी प्रेरित करणे, त्यांना मार्गदर्शन करणे, २२ प्रतिज्ञा अभियानासोबत काम करणे, व्यक्तिमत्व विकास, स्पर्धा परीक्षा केंद्र, बुद्धिस्ट फ्रेंड्स फाऊंडेशनची स्थापना, सोशल मीडियाच्या माध्यमातून लाखो लोकांना त्यांनी जोडण्याचे काम केलेले आहे, करीत आहेत. १० लाख किलोमीटर स्वतः गाडी चालवून प्रत्यक्ष लोकांना भेटून नेटवर्क बनविण्याचे काम ते करीत असतात, संघटन बनविणे, शिक्षणासाठी मुलांचा स्वतः खर्च करणे तसेच अनेक सामाजिक संघटनांमधून ते जोडले गेलेले आहेत.
प्रा. संजय खोब्रागडे सरांना या अगोदरही कित्येक पुरस्कार मिळालेले आहेत.
१) इटली मध्ये युवा वैज्ञानिक पुरस्कार प्रदान
२) ISTE च्या माध्यमातून देशात सर्व श्रेष्ठ शिक्षक पुरस्कार प्रदान
३) राज्यपालांच्या हस्ते गोल्ड मेडल प्रदान
४) व्हूज व्हू या वेबसाईट मध्ये प्रतिष्ठित व्यक्तींमध्ये त्यांचा समावेश करण्यात आलाय
