प्रेमानंद रूपावते …..काळाच्या पडद्याआड
आंबेडकरी चळवळीतील प्रख्यात नेते दिवंगत मान दादासाहेब रूपावते यांचे जेष्ट चिरंजीव व चळवळीतील एक प्रख्यात नेतृत्व प्रेमानंद रूपावते उर्फ बाबूंजी यांचे आज निधन झाले .
आपल्या वाडीलांप्रमाणे सामाजिक परिवर्तनाच्या चळवळीत झोकून घेऊन आपले उभे आयुष्य फुले शाहू आंबेडकर यांच्या विचारावर चालणारे प्रेमानंद.
जगातील सर्वोत्तम नेत्याचे वारसा पुढे नेण्यासाठी समर्पित जीवन. आपले वडील माननीय दादासाहेब रुपवते यांच्या प्रमाणे जगणारे प्रेमानंद … प्रेमाने त्यांना “बाबूजी” म्हणून ओळखले जाते .. प्रेमानंद दादासाहेब रुपवेते 40 वर्षांहून अधिक काळ हे आपल्या सामाजिक-राजकीय जीवनात प्रेमानंदजीना महाराष्ट्रातील दलित-बौद्ध समाजाचे नेते म्हणून सन्मानित करण्यात आले
समाजाच्या विकासासाठी आपले जीवन समर्पित करणाऱ्ऱ्या कुटुंबात जन्मलेले प्रेमानंदजी हे आद दिवंगत नेते दादासाहेब आणि सुशीलबाई यांचे सर्वात मोठे पुत्र आहेत.
त्यांचा 25 ऑक्टोबर 1 9 46 रोजी महाराष्ट्रातील अहमदनगर जिल्ह्यातील अकोले गावात जन्म झाला .प्रवरा नदीच्या काठी असलेल्या गावात त्यांनी आपल्या प्राथमिक शिक्षणाला जिल्ह्या परिषदेच्या प्राथमिक शाळेत सुरुवात केली . प्रेमानंदजी नंतर शैक्षणिक ध्येय साध्य करण्यासाठी अहमदनगर,वाई ,पुणे, मुंबई येथे गेले आणि त्यांनी मुंबईतील सरकारी लॉ महाविद्यालयातील लॉमधून पदवी प्राप्त केली. औपचारिक शिक्षणानंतर त्यांनी राजकीय प्रवासास सुरवात केली आणि मागे वळून पाहिले नाही !!
