एस आर म्हणून आंबेडकरी चळवळीत प्रसिद्ध असणारे जेष्ठ कार्यकर्ते होते दलित पँथर च्या चळवळीत स्वतः व संपूर्ण घरातील लोकांना चळवळीत सामावून घेऊन समाजासाठी त्यांनी महत्त्वाचे योगदान दिले .जातीय लढ्याच्या लढ्यात पँथर च्या वरळीच्या मोर्च्या। च्या वेळेस लहान बंधू भागवत जाधव चा व रमेश देवरुखकर या दोन तरूणांचा बळी गेला .
आपल्या चळवळीतील अनेक आठवणी व आपल्या शहिद भागवत जाधव स्मृतीत ते सतत चळवळ प्रेरणा देत असत .
अक्खा महाराष्ट्र त्यांना एस आर जाधव म्हणून ओळखतो .
