महामानव भारतरत्न डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी अस्पृश्य समाजाच्या जागृतीसाठी सुरू केलेल्या ‘ मूकनायक’ या पाक्षिकाच्या शताब्दी वर्षांची सांगता येत्या रविवारी 31 जानेवारी रोजी होत आहे. त्या निमित्ताने “वर्ल्ड बुद्धिस्ट अँड आंबेडकराईट मिशन आणि कल्याण तालुका जर्नालिस्ट वेल्फेअर असोसिएशन” यांचा मूकनायक सामाजिक सामाजिक पत्रकारिता पुरस्कार ज्येष्ठ पत्रकार दिवाकर शेजवळ यांना जाहीर करण्यात आला आहे. ते गेली तीन दशके पत्रकारितेत असून सध्या दैनिक ‘ नवराष्ट्र’ चे सहाय्यक संपादक आहेत.
मूकनायक सामाजिक पत्रकारिता पुरस्कारांच्या मानकऱ्याची निवड आज वर्ल्ड बुद्धिस्ट अँड आंबेरकराईट मिशनचे अध्यक्ष ऍड प्रदीप जगताप यांनी एका पत्रकाद्वारे जाहीर केली.
पत्रकारांसोबतच काही निवडक सामाजिक कार्यकर्त्यांनाही या समारंभात पुरस्कार देऊन गौरविण्यात येणार आहे, असे त्यांनी सांगितले.
सामाजिक पत्रकारिता पुरस्कारासाठी दिवाकर शेजवळ यांच्याबरोबरच दैनिक ‘सम्राट’ चे संपादक बबन कांबळे, ‘ मॅक्स महाराष्ट्र’चे ज्येष्ठ पत्रकार किरण सोनावणे, विजय मांडके यांची निवड झाल्याची माहिती त्यांनी दिली आहे.
रविवारी पत्रकार संघात शानदार सोहळाआयोजित केला असून हा सामाजिक पत्रकारिता आणि सामाजिक कार्य पुरस्कार प्रदान करण्याचा शानदार सोहळा येत्या रविवारी ३१जानेवारी २०२१ रोजी सकाळी १०.३० वाजता मुंबई आझाद मैदान येथील मुंबई मराठी पत्रकार संघाच्या सभागृहात पार पडणार आहे.
वंदन प्रज्ञा सूर्याला ! सोहळ्याआधी प्रख्यात गायक आनंद शिंदे यांचा ‘ वंदन प्रज्ञा सूर्याला’ हा बहारदार कार्यक्रम सादर केला जाणार आहे. तसेच या सोहळ्यात ‘ भारत लोकधारा टाइम्स’ या दैनिकाच्या वेबसाईटचे आणि विशेष अंकाचे प्रमुख पाहुण्यांच्या हस्ते प्रकाशन करण्यात येणार आहे. या मूकनायक शताब्दी सांगता सोहळ्याचे उदघाटन बंगळुरूचे डॉ रामप्रसाद मोरे ( एम डी) हे असून कल्याणचे माजी आमदार जगन्नाथ शिंदे हे स्वागताध्यक्ष आहेत.
विधानसभा अध्यक्ष नाना पटोले यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखालील या समारंभाला गृहनिर्माण मंत्री डॉ जितेंद्र आव्हाड, आरोग्य मंत्री राजेश टोपे, अन्न नागरी पुरवठा मंत्री छगन भुजबळ, शिक्षण मंत्री प्रा वर्षा गायकवाड,ठाण्याचे पालकमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे, पर्यावरण मंत्री आदित्य ठाकरे, आमदार विश्वनाथ भोईर हे प्रमुख अतिथी म्हणून उपस्थित राहणार आहेत.
मूकनायक पत्रकारिता पुरस्कार आणि सामाजिक कार्य पुरस्काराच्या मानकऱयांना उपमुख्यमंत्री अजितदाद पवार, केंद्रीय सामाजिक न्याय राज्य मंत्री रामदास आठवले, मुंबईच्या महापौर किशोरी पेडणेकर यांच्या हस्ते पुरस्कार प्रदान करण्यात येणार आहेत.
