महात्मा ज्योतिबा फुले : एक महान युगप्रवर्तक!

संपुर्ण भारतीय समाजात आधुनिक समाजक्रांतीचे उद्गाते आणि भारताच्या समाजक्रांतीचे जनक महात्मा ज्योतिबा फुले यांची जयंती आज देशभरात साजरी होत आहे.
शिक्षणासारखे शस्त्र भारतीय समाजात सहज त्यांनी उपलब्ध करवून दिले. त्यासाठी 1882 सालात ब्रिटिश सरकारच्या भारतात आलेल्या हंटर शिक्षण आयोगापुढे त्यांनी भारतातील शिक्षण व्यवस्थेच्या क्रांतिकारक उन्नती साठी निवेदन सादर केले .त्यात शिक्षणाची कवाडे स्त्रियांना उघडी करा .केवळ शिक्षणाने नोकरदार व पगारदार लोक वाढतील असे नाही तर शिक्षणाचा फायदा देशातील व्यापार,उद्योग वाढीसाठी व्हावा, असा जोरदार आग्रह धरला. भारताची झालेली प्रगती पाहता फुले यांच्या द्रष्टेपणाची प्रचिती येते.
1882 ला शिक्षणासाठी एकाकी लढणारा हा महात्मा किती काळाच्या पुढे असेल हे त्यांच्या लिखाणावरून लक्षात येते.
इतिहासाचा खरा सत्यशोधक-
रयतेचे राजे छत्रपती शिवाजी राजे यांचा खरा इतिहास पोवाड्याच्या माध्यमातून लिहितानाच फुले यांनी पहिली शिव जयंती साजरी केली.
स्त्री ती मग कोणत्याही जातीची व धर्माची असो त्यांचे दुखणे सारखेच आहे हे जगाला सत्य उलगडून सांगणारा खरा स्त्री उद्धारक म्हणजे महात्मा फुले.
स्वतः उद्योगपती असून ही शेतकऱ्यांना न्याय मिळवून देण्यासाठी ते झटले. शेतकऱयांची कैफियय त्यांनी सरकार दरबारात मांडली. शेतकरी कसा भरडला जातो ,त्याच्यावर कसे अन्याय होत असतात त्याचा पाढा त्यांनी वाचला. शेतकऱ्यांना न्याय मिळवून देण्यासाठी लेखणीला शेतकऱ्यांचा आसूड बनवले.
आपला पाण्याचा हौद खुला करून अस्पृश्य वर्गाला पाणी देणारा खरा मानवता वादी म्हणजे महात्मा फुले. जातीभेद हे ब्राह्मणांनी निर्माण केले आहेत , हे फुले यांनी निडरपणे सांगितले. त्यांच्या गुलामगिरीविरुद्ध आवाज उठवला.
आज त्यांचे लेखन वाचले तर अंगावर काटा उभा राहतो.त्यांच्या साहित्याचे काही फोटो आपणास देत आहे .त्यांचे साहित्य आणि जीवन प्रवास पहिला ही थक्क व्हायला होते .शिक्षण म्हणजे आजचा जगण्याचा श्वास आहे तरी ही शिक्षणावर क्रांतिकारक कार्यकरणारे महात्मा फुले आजून ही उपेक्षितच आहेत.सरकार याची दखल कधी घेईल कोण जाणे पण भारतातील प्रत्येक नागरिक त्यांच्या उपकाराची फेड कधी करेल त्या दिवसाची वाट पाहावी लागेल आणि तोच दिवस ह्या भारताचा खरा उधाराचा आणि सोन्याचा दिवस असेल.
