डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर आणि तथागत बुद्ध यांच्या जीवनावर व आंबेडकरी विचारावर जवळजवळपास 1000 च्या वर गीत,कविता आणि गझला त्यांनीं रचल्या आहेत ……
त्यांची असंख्य गीते महाराष्ट्र च्या मातीत तोंडपाठ झाली आहेत. त्यांच्या कित्येक गीते ,कविता विख्यात गायकांनी गायली आहेत.
आंबेडकरी चळवळ महाराष्ट्रभर पोहचविण्यास लेखणी व गायनाच्या माध्यमातून मोठा वाटा आहे.सर्वसामान्य माणूस हा मोठी पुस्तके वाचत नाही मात्र गायन ऐकतो ,त्या गीताचे बोल लक्षात ठेवून आपल्या मनावर त्याचे पडसाद उमटवत असतो …..कित्येक खेडूत,अडाणी लोकांना बुद्ध आणि बाबासाहेब आताच्या माध्यमातून सहज सोप्या भाषेत समजावून त्यांना डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या विचारांचा प्रचार केला.
गीत रुपी वामन आपल्या सर्वांच्या मनांत जिवंत आहे ….!.आणि हेच खरे कर्तृत्व आहे .
वामनदादा कर्डक यांची संपूर्ण जिवंगाथा संघर्षाची असून ती आम्हा कलाकारांना प्रेरणादायी आहे.
