डाॅ.बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांना विविध कलांची उत्तम जान होती.
बाबासाहेब…..!
ते वयाच्या बारा – तेराव्या वर्षी उत्तम तबला वाजवत. स्थानिक भजनीमंडळात आपल्या तबला वादनाची चुणुक ते वेळोवेळी दाखवत.
एकदा गल्लीतल्या भजनाच्या कार्यक्रमाला तबला वाजवणारा माणूस आला नाही त्यावेळी स्वतः डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी खूप छान तबला वाजवला, त्यावेळी लोकांनी तोंडात बोटे घातली.
आवड म्हणून ते व्हायोलिन सुध्दा शिकले होते…
“किंग लियर” या नाटकाचा “शहानी मुलगी” नावाने मराठी अनुवाद करुन त्याचं फ़क्कड प्रहसन त्यांनी सादर केलं होतं..
देवलांच्या “संगीत शारदा” या नाटकाचं डाॅ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी दिग्दर्शनही केलं होतं.
शेलींगकर गुरुजींकडून ते चित्रकला शिकले आणि मडिलगेकर उर्फ बापू यांच्याकडून शिल्पकलेचं ज्ञान मिळवलं होतं.. त्यांनीच डोळे उघडे असलेले तथागत बुध्द घडवले.
उद्योगपती ही…..शेअर मार्कटमध्ये कंपनी काढली
स्टॉक मार्केट च्या एकुण कारभारात बाबासाहेबांना विशेष रस होता. त्यासाठी त्यानी स्वताची कंपनी देखिल सुरु केली होती कंपनीचं नाव होत “स्टॉक्स अँड शेअर्स अँडव्हाझर्स.”
डाॅ.बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर एक उत्कृष्ट फलंदाजही होते…!
बाबासाहेबांचा शालेय जीवनात मुम्बईला आल्यावर सर्वात आवडता खेळ कोणता होता तर तो म्हणजे “क्रिकेट”
यात ते वरळी ,परळ, कोळीवाडा, सातरस्ता इ.भागातील इतर जातीच्या टीम्स ची मैच खेळत आणि स्वत: च्या टीम चे कॅप्टन असत. अनेक मैच ते जिंकत .बाबासाहेब एक चांगले फलंदाज (batsman) होते .त्यांना फलंदाजीतले बारकावे माहीत होते आणि ते आपल्या टीम मधील सहका-र्याना समजावून सांगत…
हे ही डाॅ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर माहित असले पाहिजेत
शंभर वर्षांपूर्वी 1918 साली त्यांनी शेतकर्यांच्या व्यथा, त्यांच्यापुढच्या शेती समस्या मांडणारं पुस्तक लिहिलं. ‘स्मॉल होल्डिंग्ज इन इंडिया अँड देअर रेमेडीज्’ त्यांचे हे पुस्तक ना अनुयायांना माहीत आहे, ना विरोधकांना.
शेतीवरचा बोजा कमी करा, एकच मूल शेतीत ठेवा, बाकीच्यांना तिथून बाहेर काढा नि उद्योग, व्यापार, शिक्षण, सेवा क्षेत्रात घाला.
शेतीमालाला योग्य बाजारभाव, सिंचन आणि उद्योगाचा दर्जा मिळायला हवा. शेतकरी सुखी तर देश सुखी. हे उपाय तातडीने केले नाहीत, तर शेतकरी डेंजर झोनमध्ये येईल, असं भाकीत त्यांनी शंभर वर्षांपूर्वी केलं होतं.
डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांनी 1929 साली पहिली शेतकरी परिषद घेतली. त्यांनी विधिमंडळावर काढलेला पहिला मोर्चा दलितांचा नव्हता, तर शेतकर्यांचा होता. कसणार्याला जमीन मिळावी म्हणून त्यांनी 1932 मध्ये खोती रद्द करण्याचे विधेयक मांडले.
डॉ. बाबासाहेब फक्त दलितांचे हे समीकरण इतके घट्टपणे कोरले गेलेय की, 1919 साली सर्वप्रथम सर्व भारतीयांना मतदानाचा अधिकार मिळाला पाहिजे, असे साऊथबरो कमिटीला सांगणारे डॉ. बाबासाहेब फारसे कोणाला माहीत नसतात.
देशाचे ऊर्जामंत्री, पाटबंधारे मंत्री, सार्वजनिक बांधकाम खात्याचे व विमान वाहतूक खात्याचे मंत्री असलेले विश्वरत्न
डाॅ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर देशाला ऊर्जा साक्षरता व जल साक्षरतेची सर्वाधिक गरज आहे, असं 1942 साली सांगत होते.देशातील पहिली 15 धरणं बांधणारे, देशातल्या मोठ्या नद्या एकमेकीला जोडून दुष्काळ हटवण्याची योजना करणारे, सारा देश हायवेंनी जोडणारे, भारताला विकास हवाय, बिजली, सडक, पाणी म्हणजेच विकास हे सूत्र ते मांडत होते.
असे हे हरहून्नरी बाबासाहेब.
बाबासाहेब समजायला वेळ लागतोय,
पण एकदा समजले कि त्यांच्याच विचारांचं वेड लागतय.
आणि विचारांचा घोळ होतं नाही……!
