तथागताची करुणा आणि सार्थ भीम जयंती याहून वेगळी काय असेल ?

आंतरराष्ट्रीय अरिष्ट ठरलेल्या कोरोनाच्या महामारीमुळे भारतीय संविधानाचे जनक डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या जगभरात साजऱ्या होणाऱ्या जयंती महोत्सवावर यंदा प्रथमच मर्यादा पडल्या आहेत. यावेळी भीम जयंती आपणा सर्वांना कौटुंबिक पातळीवरच साजरी करावी लागणार आहे.
कोरोनापासून स्वतःचा बचाव करण्यासाठी आणि त्याच्या फैलावला वाव मिळू न देण्यासाठी गर्दी टाळण्याच्या दृष्टीने सार्वजनिक स्वरूपात जयंती महोत्सव साजरा करण्याच्या आपल्या उत्साहाला मुरड घालणे यंदा भाग पडले आहे.
अशा परिस्थितीत डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांची जयंती यावेळी कौटुंबिक पातळीवर साजरी करण्याची दक्षता घेऊन राज्य सरकारला सहकार्य करणेच पुरेसे नाही. त्याचबरोबर कोरोनाचा निःपात करण्यासाठी सरकारला पाठबळ म्हणून मुखमंत्री निधीत योगदान देण्याचे सामाजिक कर्तव्यही बजावायचे आहे. तथागत बुद्धाची करुणा मनात ओतप्रोत भरलेला बौद्ध समाज त्या कर्तव्यात अग्रभागी राहील, यात शंका नाहीच.
अवघ्या विश्वाचे आणि मानव जातीचे रक्षण करण्याच्या उदात्त कार्यातील आपल्या सक्रिय सहभागाहून तथागताची करूणा आणि बाबासाहेबांची सार्थ जयंती आणखी वेगळी काय असू शकेल ?
क्रांतीबा फुले (11 एप्रिल), डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर (14 एप्रिल), तथागत बुद्ध ( 7 मे ) या तीनही जयंतीचा आनंदोत्सव आपण सारे देश करोना मुक्त झाल्यावर अफाट जल्लोषात साजरा करू या!
