भारतीय सैन्यदलातील “महार रेजिमेंट” च्या “अविनाश साबळे” यांची जगतीक “ऑलम्पिक” साठी निवड.
भारतीय सैन्यदलात आतापर्यंत महार रेजिमेंटचा इतिहास खूप अभिमानस्पद आहेच पण त्याला एक वेगळी किणार आहे . उपेक्षित तरीही नेहमी युध्दात आघाडीवर असणारी ही रेजिमेंट म्हणजे भारतीय सैन्यदलाचा कणा आहे . ब्रिटिश सरकारपासून कार्यरत असणाऱ्या ह्या रेजिमेंट चें बोध चिन्ह आहे भिमाकोरेगावचा विजयस्तंभ .या रेजिमेंटचा सार्थ अभिमान महामानव डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांना असायचा आणि या देशातील तमाम शोषित,पीडित मागास लोकांना आपले शौर्याची गाथा अधोरेखित करणाऱ्या या रेजिमेंटचा अभिमानच आहे त्या प्रत्येक आंबेडकरी तरुणांची छाती अभिमानाने फुगून येते.
सध्या सोशल मीडियावर अविनाश साबळे या सैनिकांचे नाव कमालीचे व्हायरल होत आहे कारण ही तसेच आहे .मा अविनाश साबळे हे मूळचे बीड जिल्ह्यातील असून ते महाराष्ट्रातुन महार रेजिमेंट मध्ये भारतीय सैन्यात कार्यरत आहेत .सैन्यातून नुकतीच अगोदरचे 3 विक्रमी विजयाची नोंद मोडीत काढत त्यांनी स्थान पटकावले आहे .3000मीटर स्टेपलचेस या प्रकारात त्यांची जपान टोकियो येथे होणाऱ्या जागतिक अलम्पिक स्पर्धेत भाग घेण्याकरिता त्यांची एकमेव महाराष्ट्रातुन निवड झाली आहे .
