मुंबईच्या नायर रूग्णालयात रॅगिंगचा बळी; जळगावच्या तरूणीने गळफास घेत केली आत्महत्या, आत्महतेच्या निषेधार्थ तडवी डॉक्टर असोशिएशन आणि विविध संघटनांच्या वतीने आंदोलन
तरूणीला मागासवर्गीय आरक्षित जागेवरून प्रवेश मिळाला म्हणून जातीवाचक टोमणे मारायचे
यावल-रॅगिंगला कंटाळून वैद्यकिय पदव्युत्तर शिक्षणाकरिता मुंबईच्या नायर हॉस्पिटलमध्ये शिक्षण घेत असलेल्या डॉ. पायल सलमान तडवी या तरुणीने आत्महत्या केली आहे. घटना बुधवारी घडली आहे. मयत तरूणी ही आदिवासी तडवी समाजाची होती त्यामुळे तिच्या आत्महत्येस कारणीभूत ठरणाऱ्यांना तात्काळ अटक करावी व या प्रकरणाची सखोल चौकशी व्हावी, या मागणीकरिता आज(24 मे) यावलमध्ये तडवी डॉक्टर असोसिएशन तसेच आदिवासी तडवी समाजाच्या विविध संघटनांच्या वतीने जळगावात आंदोलन करत जिल्हाधिकाऱ्यांना निवेदन देण्यात आले.
वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालयात पदव्युत्तर शिक्षणासाठी डॉ.पायल सलमान तडवी (रा.वाघ नगर,जळगाव) ही तरुणी टोपीवाला राष्ट्रीय वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालय अर्थात नायर रुग्णालय मंबईमध्ये शिक्षण घेत होती 1 मे 2018 रोजी तीला मागासर्गीय राखीव जागेवर प्रवेश मिळाला होता. यानंतर रूग्णालयात सीनिअर असलेल्या डॉ. हेमा आहूजा, डॉ. भक्ती मेहर, डॉ. अंकिता खंडेलवाल यांनी सतत तिचा छळ केला व रॅगिंग केली तसेच तिने मागासवर्गीय आरक्षित जागेवर प्रवेश मिळवला म्हणुन तिला जातीवाचक टोचून बोलत होते. याबाबत तरुणीने वारंवार डीनकडे तक्रार देखील केली होती. पण तरीसुद्धा त्याची योग्य दखल घेण्यात आली नाही. परिणामी तिने बुधवारी(दि.22) हॉस्टेलच्या आठव्या मजल्यावर असलेल्या तिच्या खोली क्रमांक 806 मध्ये गळफास घेवुन आत्महत्या केली.
याप्रकरणी मुंबईच्या आग्रीपाडा पोलिस ठाण्यामध्ये संबंधित तिघा डॉक्टरांविरुद्ध रॅगिंग करणे, आत्महत्येस प्रवृत्त करणे तसेच माहिती आणि प्रसारण कायद्याअन्वये गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आलेला आहे. गुन्ह्यातील सर्व संशयितांना तात्काळ अटक व्हावी आणि कठोर शासन व्हावे तसेच यापुढे असे होऊ नये म्हणून या घटनेचा निषेध करीत यावल-रावेर तालुक्यातील तडवी डॉक्टर असोसिएशन तसेच आदिवासी तडवी समाजाच्या विविध संघटनांच्या वतीने शुक्रवारी जिल्हाधिकारी तसेच जिल्हा पोलीस अधीक्षक कार्यालयात निवेदन देऊन आंदोलन केले गेले.
