जेव्हा कोणी आमदार मंत्रिपदाची शपथ पहिल्यांदा घेतो, तो क्षण त्याच्यासाठी केवळ आंनदाचा नसतो। त्याक्षणी नव्या मंत्र्याच्या मनात संमिश्र भावनांचा आणि भूतकाळातील आठवणींचा कल्लोळ उठत असतो। त्यात श्रद्धा,कृतज्ञता, काढलेल्या खस्तामागील वेदना, वाटचालीत आलेले भले बुरे अनुभव असे बरेच काही असते। त्यातून उचंबळून येणाऱ्या भावनांतून शपथविधीवेळी प्रारंभी कुणाला अभिवादन, वंदन करावे, असे आमदारांना वाटण्यात गैर काहीच नाही। किंबहुना मंत्रिपदाचा सन्मान आणि मोठी नवी जबाबदारी स्वीकारताना तसे त्यांनी करणे स्वाभाविक म्हटले पाहिजे।
मात्र मुखमंत्री उद्धवजी ठाकरे यांच्या मंत्रीमंडळाच्या विस्तारानंतर आज झालेल्या नव्या मंत्रयांच्या शपथविधीवेळी राज्यपालांनी काँग्रेसच्या प्रा वर्षा गायकवाड यांना भारतरत्न डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांचे नाव घेण्यास आक्षेप घेतला। वास्तविक याआधी मोजक्या मंत्र्यांचा शपथविधी झाला तेव्हा डॉ नितीन राऊत यांनी तथागत बुद्ध आणि डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांना अभिवादन केलेच होते। मग वर्षा गायकवाड यांनी चुकीचे काय केले होते ?
नवे मुख्यमंत्री उद्धवजी ठाकरे हे प्रबोधनकारांचे नातू आणि शिवसेनाप्रमुख बाळासाहेब ठाकरे यांचे सुपुत्र आहेत। शिवसेनाप्रमुखांनी तर न्यायालयात साक्ष देतांना धर्मग्रंथाऐवजी डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या राज्यघटनेचीच शपथ घेतली जावी अशी आग्रही भूमिका घेतली होती। संविधान हाच राष्ट्रग्रंथ आहे। न्यायालयात कशाला हवेत निरनिराळे धर्मग्रंथ असा सवाल शिवसेनाप्रमुख करायचे।
महाराष्ट्राच्या नव्या राज्यपालांना त्याची आठवण करून देत महाराष्ट्र ही डॉ बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांची कर्मभूमी आहे, हे महाराष्ट्र विकास आघाडीच्या सरकारने सांगण्याची गरज आहे।
