‘Baudh’ in religion column, process doesn’t proceed further, thus caste certificate is not issued…
Mr.Achyut R.Bhuite, President of Buddhist Scheduled caste of india, & myself jointly met Respected Bhimrao Ambedkar, grandson of Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar, President, Bharatiya Baudh Mahasabha.
Mr.Bhuite submitted a copy of letter undersigned by him pertaining the technical snag at online Setu Kendra of Govt. of Maharastra for issuance of Caste Certificate.
For example, While submitting online request, if we put ‘Baudh’ in religion column, process doesn’t proceed further, thus caste certificate is not issued. For availing the same, we have to put ‘Hindu’, then all list of scheduled caste are seen, thereafter we have to select our caste. by doing this process, finally we get the caste certificate as informed by the issuing authorities. Caste certificate is issued as ‘Hindu – Mahar’ ( for example wherein the caste is ‘Mahar’ of an individual).
This online process is done intentionally or it is a technical error, is thus a matter of investigation. But this process should be get rectified by Govt. of Maharastra at the earliest for the benefit of our community. The rectification in the online process should be done as per order notice no. 12016/28/90-SCD (R.L. Cell) Government of India/ Bharat Sarkar Ministry of Welfare/ Kalyan Mantralay dated 20th November 1990. It is an immediate matter of concern as it is related to our future generation’s rights & benefits laid by our Indian constitution.
A copy of this letter has been already submitted to respected Mr. Rajkumar Badole, Social Justice Minister.
Mr. Bhimrao Ambedkar also assured that he will be supporting this cause.
